I consider myself fortunate to have had a fulfilling career in engineering, where I have focused on systems design, network architecture, and information security for various government branches. Throughout my journey, my favorite role has always been that of an instructor - whether it's through educating others or providing technical support.

Driven by my passion for education, I have been fortunate enough to integrate my professional experiences into my personal life, achieving a healthy work-life balance that allows me to follow my passion while continuing to grow in my career. It brings me great joy to see how my experience has positively impacted the lives of those around me, and I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the field of engineering.

What do you enjoy about ESL Tutoring with Adults?

I have always been passionate about connecting with people on a personal level. For me, taking the time to get to know each client is paramount in creating personalized lesson plans that meet their unique needs. Whether working with a group of students or an individual, I cherish the time shared and always prioritize each client's individual goals.

Through one-to-one meetings, I tailor each session to the client's specific level and ambitions. As an English Language Coach, I specialize in helping international professionals communicate more effectively and unlock their career potential. In ESL, we focus on boosting self-confidence by mastering expressions, ideas, and intonation patterns to help you become a skilled conversationalist. In Academic Tutoring, we work together to establish goals and provide you with the tools you need to achieve success.

At the heart of my approach is a commitment to quality, which is why I believe technology should be designed for the way we work as well as the way we live. I'm constantly exploring ways to infuse creativity into every session and create lessons that are not only effective but also fun, interactive, and meaningful. As an Apple Teacher and a TEFL/TESOL Certified Teacher, I'm proud to share my passion for Apple products and provide my clients with the very best in language coaching and academic support.

Why do you teach English Writing using Institute of Excellence in Writing (IEW) curriculum?

Writing with Style and Structure presents a highly focused approach to the craft of writing. Students commence with acquiring the skill of taking notes from source texts, which they use to retell stories or articles in their own words. To enhance their storytelling with creative details, they are introduced to Dress Ups, such as prepositions, strong verbs, quality adjectives, who-which clauses, and because clauses. Furthermore, they learn to weave their own unique style of writing using Sentence Openers. To ensure their work is complete with all necessary requirements, Composition Checklists are completed for each writing. Compared to other writing curriculums, IEW offers a wide range that covers grammar, writing style, and vocabulary, which students can work through at their own pace. Since using the Writing with Style and Structure curriculum for over 6 years, I have witnessed the students' development in expressing themselves through writing with great pleasure.
