My own career has taken me from technology to education, but at the heart of it all has been one goal: helping people connect. Now, I get to combine my love for teaching with my passion for cultural exchange, guiding students and professionals as they build skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

From Tech to Teaching
My professional journey began in systems design, network architecture, and information security within government branches.
While I enjoyed the challenge, my heart was always drawn to roles where I could help others—whether through education or technical support.
Today, I’m grateful to have merged these passions into a balanced career that blends technology, teaching, and personal connection.

One of my most fulfilling experiences was serving as a Guide at Acton Academy. Instead of giving answers, I empowered students to take charge of their own learning.
In our Foundations Studio, each child became an independent learner, thriving in a community that values excellence, curiosity, and collaboration.
Storytelling & Creative Language
As an educator, I specialize in teaching students across different grade levels the art of storytelling using the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) program.
In today’s fast-moving world, writing skills are often overlooked in classrooms—but I believe they’re more important than ever. By teaching typing proficiency and building strong vocabulary, students unlock new ways to tell stories.
I’ve seen them create narratives rich with detail, imagination, and depth—skills that serve them far beyond the classroom.
